About Me
Hi, I’m Ashley!
I am a proud elementary teacher, mother, wife, and friend. I have two beloved Labradors, Sven & Bjorn, and we welcomed our baby boy into the family this past October.
While I don’t necessarily have a photography “specialty,” I do know that I gravitate towards capturing graduates, families, and couples. I love editing using bold, eye-catching colours so that the photograph becomes something greater: a piece of art. Seeing faces, interactions, and love on my screen fills me with a joy like no other! My absolute favourite part of what I do is sitting at my computer and transforming my images. Seeing the before and after is so satisfying, and it’s amazing what light and colours can do. I love showing people what I see in them and getting to be a part of their story for just a little while.
I think pictures remind us to cherish the people around us and relish precious moments. Sometimes you don’t realize just how special a photograph can be.
